First off let me start by saying that this is good selvedge denim and that this is not a review on the product itself, but a review on customer experience. I had purchased a pair of denim jeans here that they had to hem for me to fit correctly. I first asked before any hemming was done, if the dimensions in the leg opening would change, which they assured me would not. I went ahead and requested to get them hemmed and delivered. When they arrived, I noticed that the leg opening did in fact widen and I also noticed that they needed to be hemmed another inch (because apparently, its customary at some jean places to leave a little bit of extra room) Since the jeans were still too long and any extra hemming on the jeans would result in the leg opening to increase even more, I asked if it was possible to get a refund. They told me that since they hemmed them for me that they couldnt do that. This obviously annoyed me as a customer because the only reason I asked about the dimensions in the first place was to avoid this exact issue. I now have to spend money to get them tapered somewhere else, which they also dont do. If you buy from them make sure they fit you correctly while you are there, and not to risk planning to get them hemmed and delivered, because there is a chance you might not like the way they turn out.

I ordered a pair of jeans online from Canada. The jeans and service are excellent, but I was not aware that there would be an additional $80 surcharge from UPS for importing the jeans. I recommend making international customers aware that there will be significant surcharges prior to their item being paid for.
