We are sorry to hear that you are unhappy with your current M7 Speed experience. However, there are a few things we would like to note so you are clear on the actual events. We received your sons ECU on Thursday, June 20. We completed the tune and the ECU was sent out the following day, Friday, June 21. Therefore, there is no false advertising on our website as our one day turnaround promise was kept and our website states Typically one business day turn around at M7 PLUS shipping transit time. The price you paid is the price that anyone pays to have this type of service done. We keep our prices as low as we can, but due to the nature of our business (performance parts) items typically cost a bit more - even when sold at their lowest price. We require an adult signature for this package because the ECU is incredibly valuable and if it were to be pirated from the delivery drop off point, it would cost thousands of dollars to replace it. We require an adult signature on all orders that are valued at $1,000 or more. It is meant to be protection for our customers. We sincerely apologize that you feel you were misled and that you are unhappy. Here at M7 we strive on our excellent customer service in addition to our incredible products. We stand by what we say we will do as well as the products and services that we offer. After spending a ridiculous amount of money with your company my son still doesn't have his car parts. You preach on your website that the part will be shipped out the same day it was received but of course that didn't happen with his order. So his car is already delayed in getting back together & running. Than, when you finally ship out the package you send it UPS with adult signature? Ah, people actually work - do you really think its smart to keep your customer's home all day waiting for UPS?? Now, it's delayed even more because of your brilliant idea! I'm so disappointed with your company and will make sure my son never orders again or recommends this company for false advertisement.

Unfortunately the full story has not been told by the customer. The skid plate was used in an organized competition rallycross event. The M7 skid plate is not designed or warranted for high speed competition events where it may be the first part touch back down to earth after a high speed, all wheels off the ground landing. When preparing an off road competition vehicle the owner needs to realize the extreme forces that the vehicle will be subjected to, and fabricate extreme parts that are specifically designed for high speed off road racing use. The M7 skid plate is designed to protect the engine, transmission and front undercarriage from rock and debris intrusion when venturing off highway on casual low speed adventures.

They advertise items as for off road use only, but if you use the parts as intended they will not honor their warranty and leave you high and dry. Purchased a skid plate for a Mini and it didn't even last a few laps of ice racing. Mostly a decorative part and has no function. Waste of money. Contacted them for help and was told warranty on product was void because it was used off road. So if you use your race parts for racing the warranty is void. Beautiful policy! its like selling swim trunks and voiding the warranty if you get them wet.

This review is based on my experience, they have great quality products. I ordered a tuner and my car broke down before I even got it. So I returned it without even opening it and got charged a $200 restocking fee. I called to talk to someone in charge, the kid that answered the phone took my info and said that they were going to call back. I've been waiting for a couple of weeks and no response.
