Highly inflexible policies- lost 140. ***I cant figure out how to reply to the owners response to my review, but I would like to clarify that I was not abusive or threatening at any point in our exchange. Ive clearly stated in my review the elements that I feel I am responsible for. Their response typifies the type of interactions that have stressed me out during my surgery recovery period. I hope they can overcome their frustration enough to learn from this exchange. If theyd like to use my 140 towards customer service training Id absolutely support that. Id be comfortable with Richard following through on his threat to post the entire exchange (in full rather than picking and choosing elements) as it would dispel the lies he is telling about my conduct below and show the exchange where his colleague told me there was no price difference between the two dates.*** Original review: Its my fault for not reading the Terms and Conditions fully before I booked. But I think theyre restrictive and seem to be enforced in even the most unusual circumstances, where a more customer experience orientated approach would have achieved more goodwill and not cost them any more money. They were initially helpful in offering to change the date when I got called for surgery for endometriosis. However, they told me there was no difference in price between what I booked and the new date I was offered - I later discovered there was a difference of 70. Their policy also required me to waive my rights to a refund on that date if THEY cancelled the offered date. I ultimately decided not to go with them on any date, because of the dishonesty/difficulty of our interactions. As they would not provide me with a refund (again thats their right and was in Terms and Conditions) doing so has meant Ive lost 140 spent on my dads 60th birthday gift. They informed me their policy was to not resell the places on our original date and viewed the places on the offered revised date as a gift. So I dont see why they couldnt have just refunded me. It wouldnt have cost them more (according the them) and would have enabled me to get another gift for my dad. Im sure they offer a good service once you get there, but given how life can throw you curveballs, Ill be going with a company with more flexible policies and a more honest approach in future.

We just done a 2 hour coastal foraging course which I recieved as a Christmas gift for my partner and I, we have done small amounts of foraging before and this course was very informative and a lot of fun. Richard and Amy have a wealth of knowledge and no question went unanswered. They have an ability to keep novice and experienced foragers engaged within the same group which was great for us who are on the novice side. We will definitely be booking a couple of other courses and would highly recommend to anyone thinking of giving it a go. Thanks a million guys and see yous again soon
