All Stars? More like two stars. I had decided not to leave this review but just had another set of friends have a negative experience with this shop (except the one in Quail Corners) so I decided to write. I bought my first bike through these guys years ago and had a good experience. I came back recently to get another bike tuned up and every time I walked in the shop the feeling I got was pretty unwelcoming. I left the bike for a basic break adjustment anyway and I wish I had gone with my gut. The request for the break adjustment seemed to be a bother to the tech and it ended up being at least two weeks before I got the bike back even though it was promised in less time. There was a lot of back and forth about replacing the breaks, repairing the breaks, etc. and I had to initiate most of that communication. I wish they had just said they couldn't fix it and I could have taken it some where else. They did only charge me for a break tune up even though they used some new parts which I appreciated. There is probably a better bike shop out there, or at least one that seems happy to see you. I'd go with that one.
If you want to feel dumb come here. My favorite part was when I pronounced my bike name incorrectly and the guy rolled his eyes. Ive been really excited about learning how to fix up my bike, until now.
