Hi Kevin, We're surprised and disappointed by your review. Jackson Design Build takes great care to respect adjacent properties on all our build sites. You and I communicated several times during construction to ensure your property would not be disturbed, and the project was completed as discussed. We had not heard anything from you since the homes were finished over 18 months ago. Regarding fencing: I do not agree that I or anyone from my company promised you a new fence. I do remember telling you that new fences are often negotiated into a purchase contract, and that may be the case for you, or that maybe you could get a new neighbor to split the cost of a new fence with you. None of those scenarios came up though. On the grading: Denver Waste Water and our 3rd party warranty company mandate the way we grade the lot on each project we complete. I recall that when we started the construction on this duplex you had negative drainage on the N side of your house. We took several precautions to make sure we did not cause any additional drainage problems for you with the way we graded our lot (as required by Denver). We did not correct your drainage issue that was pre-existing before we started construction, nor did we offer to do so. We welcome a conversation to discuss your concerns. Be careful if these guys are building a property near yours. We own a property adjacent to a new duplex they built in Sloans Lake. They told us they would do a number of things including a new fence and drainage before they were done and never did it. They just sell it before its done and throw their hands in their air like its out of their hands. Beware.

We used Jackson Design Build for our kitchen re-design and remodel. David (Dad) and Billy (son) Jackson and their crew were timely, professional, meticulous, within budget, and finished the job on schedule. They were fantastic! Last spring & summer, during the pandemic, we completed a challenging remodeling project with Jackson Design Build. They completely redesigned the master bath and guest bath: moving walls, installing gorgeous custom cabinets, tile, flooring, lighting and new "spa"shower enclosure. On the exterior they removed and replaced a large concrete front porch, steps, sidewalk and driveway. The driveway expansion included moving the sprinkler system and new gutter adjustments. Dave added porch railings and designed updated columns to complete the fresh new look. The final touch was a new exterior paint job. Throughout the entire project communication was excellent! Dave provided expert design and Billy managed costs, contractors, schedule and endless change orders with grace and skill. We are delighted with the final result and can't imagine working with anyone else!
