Unprofessional, misleading, DO NOT buy the Groupon. After over a week trying to schedule an appointment with a number of ignored emails, I was finally reached out to by Tanner for an intro session. After roughing through 30mins of LA traffic and arriving on time, Tanner told me that the intro session would cost a separate $40 fee. I thought he was joking... nope! He said that someone should have emailed me to let me know of the additional fee--didn't happen. After discussing that the promotion on Groupon is inaccurate and that the online price should be changed to reflect the total cost, he brushed me off, basically ignoring a logical, simple solution. Rather than avoid future confusion A4 seems perfectly content to continue this practice of charging an undisclosed $40 fee. I am truly disappointed. Avoid this unprofessional atmosphere.
I've only been to the group boxing classes here and have been shocked at how little technique is taught during the classes. While you'll punch like crazy and get sweaty, you'll learn little to nothing about actual boxing technique. There are just too many people in class for any of the teachers to pay attention to individuals. If you're just looking to punch like crazy and lose weight, I think these boxing classes can be great for you. If you're looking to learn how to box, check out JFM or CMC instead.
