UPDATE: Although it took a few weeks, PW Pizza did make this right and reimbursed us for our entire order without our asking them to do so. I appreciate that they took the time to do this. For this reason, I have changed my score from a 1 to a 3. More businesses need to respond in this manner. We are visiting the area and wanted local pizza. When we saw the 4.5-star rating, we decided this was the place to try! We ordered a calzone, a pizza and some pinwheels for pickup. Pizza had very little sauce, the crust of all three items was burnt, and I found an entire clove of garlic in one of my small pinwheels. For the price we paid, this was an incredibly disappointing experience making me question how they ever received such a high rating.
While PW Pizza serves pretty good pizza, the level of service does not match. I admittedly came in with a large group and was accommodated last minute. We were celebrating a birthday party and the first thing that the host told us was the extra charges associated with hosting a group (I.e 20% gratuity) and (we had cupcakes) and was told we would have to pay extra. We found the extra fees to be excessive but still still chose to dine anyway. However, extra fees typically denotes good or better service which we did not receive. Its hard not to assume that because the entire group was African American, we were given lesser service. Good service is in the details. We had our drinks refilled once the entire evening. Only one male, minority server was courteous, and despite paying extra to eat the cupcakes we brought, there was no space to do so because our table didnt get cleared. From the moment we arrived , all attention was put into making sure the establishment could collect as much money possible instead of making sure to provide a respectable level of service. I will seriously consider whether or not pw is still deserving of my business because I was not treated like a worthwhile customer.

I ordered the buffalo chicken dip with veggies, the veggies are like rubber and the dip is just dry chicken. I would not recommend this. The rest of the food wasn't anything special.
