Very disappointed that Marcus doesnt stand behind there merchandise. I made a very large purchase (1263.00) and the piece of artwork is completely ruined because it was framed incorrectly. The store has refused to refund or replace the piece. I have enclosed pictures of the print I purchased from Marcus. Due to the fact that it was taped to a board and framed improperly it caused the entire picture to completely ripple and wrinkle. There is nothing that can be done to fix the issue. I contacted the artists agent and she said the store should be responsible and stand behind the merchandise they sell. They sold it framed it did not come from the artist that way. I took it to a reputable frame store and they advised me it was due to the fact they used double side tape which doesnt allow the print to expand and contract and there is nothing they can do unless I was willing to have the print cut down which wont take away the ripples and.wrinkles. It was signed 7/100 and I would lose that as well. They should have taken it back and either ordered me a new print or given me a refund.
I would appreciate if the employees would wear mask and enforce the rules of customer wearing mask all the time. At least the security has his mask at all time...
