I wanted to share my story in case anyone else feels similarly. As a small business owner (who left a lucrative corporate finance job to pursue my private practice in financial planning) I was always very closely guarded when it came to my own financials- there was a certain level of shame because I wasnt quite where I wanted to be income wise and I didnt want to work with a CPA who might judge me based on that. I met Laura last year and I felt so comfortable knowing that only does she have over 20 years of experience in taxes BUT also she never talks down to you or makes you feel like she is judging you based on your numbers! Its been wonderful to hand off taxes to a professional -she keeps me on task, organized and its one thing off my long list of to dos as a mom and a business owner! Laura did an exceptional job on my taxes this year. She was able to get me a much larger refund, over twice what I thought it would be.
