Great zoo and it's free! It was nicely shaded for most of it, we got to see most of the animals despite covid and the avian flu (bird house currently closed). Make sure to take water, only one water fountain that we could find. (And make sure to call ahead for scooter rentals, they seem to run out of those quickly based on what we heard). Zoo doesn't open until ten but the park is really great too! Pack a lunch or come early to play on one of the many playgrounds! Bring some cash if you want to feed the goats/cow
We love this zoo. It is donation based entrance fees, the animals look well taken care of, and the zoo is well maintained. The playground is awesome and my kids love spending time there. The zoo is continually growing, and we can't wait to check out the new safari cafe.
Other than the Crocodiles not being available,I enjoyed every second. Even with it being Memorial Day the parking was great and staff was friendly. I can't wait to return
