Just outside of Green Bay; the NEW Zoo is a bit surprising for a small community. It has a nice African penguin, area and for a couple dollars you can feed the giraffes. You can watch two moose from a deck above them. It's a pretty great little zoo. Perfect for young children, but also a nice "just want to go somewhere" outing for adults. Unfortunately, the last time I was there it was early spring and some of the animals were still in their protective winter homes. The birds were all tucked away to protect them from Avian flu. In short, it was a disappointing time to visit.

Little zoo great for small kids. I may have went a little early this year the giraffe was in quarantine and so we're all the birds there just was not that much to look at. If you want to get out just to look at some animals and enjoy some nature it is a good time it takes about 45 minutes to walk all around.
