Stopped in at CrossFit on 18th from out of town and had a great experience. Everyone was so welcoming! Very easy to book an online class, and easy to get in contact with. Gym was very nice, in a great area, and incredibly supportive! Definitely will come back if I ever am in KC again!
I was pretty intimidated when a friend suggested that I try boot camp with her. Hesitant, I went anyway. I am soo glad I found this gem. The people and Michael were incredibly welcoming and encouraging! I will be back after a day off
Whats not to love herefantastic staff, friendly community, and a beautiful space. This is an incredibly welcoming environment that I would recommend to anyone regardless of fitness level. I cannot wait to visit again.
Dropped in here while in KC for the night and glad we did. It was really convenient to the AirBnB so walking there was easy. The workout was fun and quick and the accessory snatch work was great as well. Class was big and everyone knew how to move throughout the tight space. Really loved that they had a second coach around to help out, that was a huge plus! The owner, John, is so nice and a great coach. He was thorough with us and really great about modifications with injuries (not me, my friend and another member). It looked like the members were a pretty close knit group which is great, but they didn't really make us feel welcome. Not a big deal but it always helps when traveling and going some place new. The facility is really clean and on the higher end of CrossFit gyms that I have been to (coach uses a microphone, separate bathrooms, showers, multiple Crossover Symmetry, all kind of equipment, etc). They don't do a shirt purchase for a drop in but it was super easy to register and pay online - and I love that convenience. (Would of loved to of bought a shirt though). I will definitely go back if I travel to KC again. Coaching, facility, location and programming are on point!
This place helps keeps me healthier and happier. The fact that a guy like me with absolutely no athletic background (and 40+ pounds to lose) when I first dropped in has now averaged 4-5 workouts a week here consistently for over 4 years and counting? That says about everything you need to know about the coaching and the community keeping you coming back for more. Coaches John, Brian, Dana, Michael, Kent, Miriam, Cara, Brett, Lauren and Jess -- they're all the absolute best!
