Bought a Uniden Sds200 and the thing is junk. Distortion is an issue when dispatch talks and cant hear the others because the volume is low,there is no middle ground with this scanner. Tried using tech support without any luck,they stopped answering me and havent heard anything back. Refused a return as well. Go with a Whistler,the Uniden is very limited in several different areas and has the worse sound and scanning is extremely slow if you scan very much. I now have a $700 paperweight.

Purchased upgrade key for my scanner from here, learned later on that it can be purchased directly from the manufacturer for fifteen dollars less. Very deceptive pricing and predatory marketing.

Ok . Where do I start? I am a 81 year-old- paw-paw. The local police and fire ect changed locations and they were not available to me. I called your company and got someone naned Paul. He walked me though everything i needed to know and was so great you should GIVE HIM A RAISE. He is such an asset to your company!I also love it that he speaks English!
