I have been to the mill several times and have purchased several items but the last time I visited the customer service was awful. I was literally at the cashier paying for my items while I believe it was the owner stood there insulting me. He is either ignorant, burned out or was having a bad day but he was very rude and I will never return.
The store itself was neat and I loved seeing all the different things they make, but the staff was TERRIBLE. I drove over 700 miles to visit because I follow them on TikTok since we were out of town with a dog, naturally I brought my dog in not even thinking about them having food products. One of the young men kindly asked if she was a service dog, I told them no and they asked us not to bring her in, which wasnt an issue. My boyfriend took my dog outside. We were very respectful and complied. Once my boyfriend walked the dog out, I could hear the staff talking about me and being rude. I get that I brought her in not thinking about what they sell, but to stand behind the counter and talk about a customer is very disrespectful. Ill never visit or support this mill again.
History and food!! Is there anything else needed?? Take a gallop back in time when visiting the granary. My goal is to watch the process when possible, yet in the meantime there is ample information to guide you through. Fabulous treats for the whole family. I indulged in the pancake mix, the bread and grit oat combo. Take your time and get ready to indulge in some true wheat products. all products do well in the fridge. It is very specific on the bags.
Man who worked there was extremely rude. He had a grey beard he yelled at us and was very in professional for no reason. Would recommend skipping this place all together.
