Visited with colleagues for Christmas lunch from the festive menu, which was delicious. Soup was excellent and full of flavour. Steak was cooked to my exact liking and Christmas pudding was really good. Staff were very professional and friendly. I'll visit again for certain.

Went to Kyloe for Valentine's day this year. While there, the waiter aggressively upsold us on wine, essentially saying the one we chose was a poor choice. We ended up going for a more expensive bottle (2014), but found the wine was extremely acidic and not nearly as good as the original one we tasted. Food seemed to be a good deal when doing the shared chateaubriand, but was left with a sour taste after the service experience. I would not return based on this. Should have returned the wine after tasting, but you know how awkward of an interaction that can be and a buzzkill on a date.
