I received a free voucher for a newborn photo session and decided to go as i was looking for a photographer anyway. The photo session itself was nice and the photographer as well but its lacking in props for photos. Nothing to make the photos special. Decided to pay 600 to get the full package of the photos and when i got home to look at them i was horrified. Very bad quality, most of the photos baby head is not even full in the photos , same ours. For 600 i was expecting really professional photos but they look like i would take them in my house, probably worse. I dont recommend and im very dissapointed because my baby would never be so small again so i can have nice proper photoshoot and some really special photos with him as a newborn

Our product guide is available on our main website plus we have a video available on our knowledge centre here https://venturestudiosleeds.co.uk although perhaps it's not easy to find from your feedback. With reference to wedding photography, our products are quite different and we do not photograph weddings, we are specialists in studio portraits, with studios worldwide that have been photographing families for over 20 years now. The voucher your wife won included a one hour photoshoot plus a framed 7x5 photograph of your choice, with no other costs to you. We obviously will do our best to give you beautiful portraits, that you would like to order from our product range but as you know, there is no obligation to order these as your experienced and decided not to. I hope all goes well with the new edition to your family when little one arrives, I understand your wife is a photographer so I guess she will be taking lots of lovely photographs. My wife won a "free" photoshoot, I say free because you need to pay for pictures because otherwise they would be out of business pretty quickly like the Sheffield one did. My pregnant wife explained we couldn't afford it if the prices where similar to a wedding. We where assured they can make something work. What they mean by that is they are happy for you to pay over a period interest free. They fact this is hidden the best it can be up until you have scene the pictures leads to mine and similar reviews. So by all means go hear but don't book anything until you get a pricelist of everything to save you the multiple trips and hard sales pitch. Main thing for us is the anger at manipulation of expecting mother's and if we had said we wanted to wait till the baby was born.

We had an amazing photoshoot session with Alice. We had fun and our daughter was well treated. The pictures are beautiful and very professional I would recommend going to Venture if you want nice pictures

I had read a few horror stories about venture and both me and my husband were apprehensive about going. On other reviews it was said that it's very uncomfortable and pushy when going back to see the photos. I have nothing bad to say about either of the two visits to venture. All the staff there are very friendly and welcoming. The photographer we had was lovely and made us both feel very at ease as it's well and truly out of our comfort zone and our 2 year old girl had loads of fun. When we went for the photo viewing we were expected to be pressured into purchasing more than just the free photo. Johnathon who done the viewing was lovely also and explained no pressure would be made to purchase anything and said if we wanted to have just the one free photo then that would be fine. It was all very relaxed and not one bit of pressure was felt. I can't thank the staff there enough and the whole experience is well worth doing. The photos were also exceptional and we are so excited to collect the photos now. Please ignore any of the negative reviews as it is just not the case.

Sorry you didn't like the idea of our Facebook offer, we do have vouchers for sale via our website plus, when allowed in these current conditions we have local exhibitions, at these you can purchase vouchers. We love Facebook / Insta as it gives us a platform to show off off our photographs and offer either packages or give some people the opportunity to win a package like you did, rather than buy the voucher initially. If i was just rating venture for the products i bought and the experience, i would be rating them 5 stars. The photoshoot was superb, the photagrapher was great and me and my wife are very happy with the end product. The main issue I have with the experience is how they get their customers. We won a free photoshoot and a small photograph on Facebook. In the end we have spent a 1000. Over 600 to get all images on a memory stick, without purchasing any prints or canvases. We are obviously not obligated to buy anything but it's very difficult seeing all the lovely photos and not being tempted. This is a common technique most photography studiis use to get business. My advice to anyone who accepts a free gift from any photography studio is to think how much it will cost in The end.
