Im not sure how it happened but it was the worst linguine and clams Ive ever had. Pasta was starchy, half the shells were empty, portion was so small I got tacos after. The waiter and staff was rushed and seemed annoyed. Very expensive for the service and portion and taste of food.
I wanna say ever since covid this place doesn't have the same food, its changed slightly. Some items are the same (bucatini de pepe/ Atwater salad) while some (diavolo/ carbonara pizzas) are not. I think if an item has been tweaked somehow to save on cost then it should somehow reflect onto the customers price and this is not the case at al aqua. I frequent places that keep the same dish as it was, so this to me is not a good thing. Also, they dont seem to have many if not all specials they used to have ($10 pizza @10pm) and thats a big let down.
