I use August locks on all my short term rental properties. The technology glitches have caused major issues in my operations. Door codes randomly delete themselves and the app constantly crashes for no apparent reason. It has caused some major issues for my guests checking in to my properties. This makes it very difficult to run a professional business as a short term rental operator or property manager. Also, lack of customer support when issues arise has me looking for a different solution to replace all 16 locks I currently have.

UPDATE: I tried to post a review on the website and they would not include it. See below: COMPLETELY WORTHLESS! I brought this product a few months ago and it arrived broken. The customer service department has been horrible to work with. They demanded I take this off the wall and then requested that I put it back on. They refuse to help unless I do more damage to my house. Do not buy! Original review: Products mostly functional and a good app, but horrible customer service. Do NOT purchase anything from here unless you want it to arrive broken and never get fixed. I contacted them about fixing/replacing the keypad I purchased that arrived defective. August requested I take the pad out of the wall to get the serial number. Then they decided I needed to reinstall it and provide a video before they will assist me at all. This product is not worth doing more damage to my door frame. I will never deal with them again!

The product is problematic and a nightmare! I had to break in my own house because it stopped working. Very cheaply made. Never do business with this company!
