Hello Alex, We haven't seen you in the store in awhile. Please tell Costo hello for me! We would love to know the items you bought that were defective. WE offer 60% to 70% of the used value of any used item. That is very similar to ever store that deals in used gear. Transients check cars even down on Broadway.. We can't help that. I am surprised you would have such a harsh critique on a business that a family member, that was a very loyal employee of ours for over 15 years! The personal vitriol is noted.

Everything I've ever received from here has been defective in some way. Their trade-in prices are not competitive, and they are located in a sketchy strip mall where transients wander the parking lot checking cars.
Great local store. I live close and head there whenever I have an in-person need. They've helped with all kinds of guitar needs over the years, with cases, strings, advice, electronics. The staff is knowledgeable. Today I came in with a couple of high E strings that broke immediately from new sets. The lady put two replacements in my hand with little more than light questioning. This is the kind of service you will NEVER get online. Go there for the small and big stuff. They'll stand behind whatever they sell.
Kim, I am sorry you felt we were rude to you. There were many red flags when buying your instrument. Red Flag #1 - You walked in our shop carrying a 1960's Gibson Dove, and when asked about your instrument, you had no idea what it was. Most folks that own an instrument like that, they know a little something about it. but, not the end of the world. Red Flag #2- When asked how you ended up with the guitar, you told us that "Your friend gave it to you". Fair enough... I then asked to speak to the friend for more information. I end up chatting to your friend about the guitar he also knows nothing about the guitar. Red Flag #3- When I asked your friend how he got the guitar, he hemmed, and hawwed, then just said "I got it from an old person's house" hmmmm ok.... Red Flag #4- After we told you we were not interested (Because we try very hard not to buy gear that has all these red flags around it.) Your friend calls us back and says "Hey man, just so you know this guitar is not stolen".....I reply with " How much did you pay for the guitar?" He replied " can't remember". In this business if anybody owns a 1960's Gibson Dove, they know how much they paid for it. I am very sorry if this is not the case, and that you felt we were rude to you. But, please try and look at this, from our perspective....

I went in to sell my gibson guitar that unfortunately was forced due to financial problems. The sales rep asked for someone to verify that the guitar was ok to sell, ,which I complied with , . The sales rep was rude to the gentlemen. I had 2 guitars with me and the sales rep didn't give my friend time to speak on both guitars , the sales rep instantly got rude saying he had heard enough. And rudely dismissed me without making eye contact saying "I am not interested ", the sales rep treated me as if i were a thief, making me feel as if the only way i was capable of having a gibson guitar was to steal one.I have never felt more embarrassed by his judgemental behavior. I would never recommend this business to anyone nor will I ever go back into a store of theirs.
