My father taught me that things are only worth what someone is willing to pay for them. If you really like it and are going to wear it often, the cost might be fine to you. Do your homework/research. Jewelry isn't valuable like the gold/silver market values that fluctuate. Remember, you are listening to a salesperson who is working to move product and is going to hype the product they are selling. Statements like "oh my gosh I can't believe it only costs this much", "this is an investment", "the value of this stone can't be compared", "gold prices are on the rise", "rhodium just went up recently" and "this price is ridiculous" are made for selling. It might be a nice piece, but if the quality of the stone or the material is so very grand like they want you to believe, they wouldn't sell it for "such a low price". I say all of this not to have you rule them out. I have bought some pieces and I am satisfied with them. If you do choose to buy, watch for a while and get used to their sales gimmicks. Look online at the size, description, reviews and pictures that customers submit. Think about it before buying. I have received 4 emails stating the price of a ring I looked at has dropped. That is a sales gimmick and a lie because each time I go back to look, it hasn't changed. Be smart when purchasing and don't fall for everything they say.
