This place has great products and very knowledgeable staff. Almost too much though. Guilt trip like no other and how awful I am for not doing all the things (they sell) to give my pet the best. I have several friends that will not shop there because of the sales pressure. I go there. I lie about everything I give (or don't give) my pets. Great place, just be prepared to be suffocated and leave feeling like a bad parent (even though you just spend $200).

I started off going to Hero's pet because they carried the specific brand of food that I feed my cats. They have a good selection of products, and good information on raw foods. My complaint is how they talk to customers. Although they tend to have good advice, they have always been condescending towards me if I do anything that differs from their opinion of what is best. Every employee Ive interacted with, except for one, acts this way. Even today they argued with me about my choice of food that I was going to buy. I have been a loyal customer for two years, but now I am parting ways because they continue to treat me this way.
