The doctor was great, but the receptionist seemed always busy. I picked up my glasses and I they were given initially without a case, in my hand. After I was asked if I have a case (and I didn't), I received one. The glasses seem poorly made (the lenses look cheap) even if they cost more than 300$. I think the price is unreasonable for the quality.
Hello Nikki, We are sorry to hear about the negative experience you had over the phone. We try to be thorough with our insurance questions and explanations as every plan is very different. We would hate to promise coverage if we are not sure. Our practice is in network with many types of insurance plans and we care for each patient equally. We have never discriminated against patients based on insurance and have quite a good population of patients on Apple Health--in fact, some of our favorite patients are on state insurance! It seems we misunderstood the type of exam you needed for your condition (routine exam benefits vs. medical) and we sincerely apologize for that. I called to check to see if they took my insurance. First person that answers said yes but to call back. I called back and the woman that answered was nice until I told her I have WA Apple Health. She was short with me and very annoyed. I stayed.l nice, and calm because Im sure its frustrating to have to deal with state insurance people. I have lupus, and need a plaquenil check every six months. She didnt know if it would cover that and said I should know what my insurance covers. She was so rude. I wish people could be kind because that was so unnecessary. I will not be going here. Id recommend finding a place that cares for people and not just how much money they will make off of you.
Dr. Jennifer is the best. I love her expertise and the kind way that she handles her patients. Have been going to the clinic for years and I have never experienced any problems.
I have seen doctor Irene Koval for one year. She is she is always been caring, thoughtful and put me at complete ease. Couldn't recommend her highly enough.
I came in today with a sever eye issue hoping to have someone take a quick look to see if it was serious and require me to go to urgent care. The front-desk staff could have cared less. They were very dismissive and unsympathetic and would not give me the time of day. I will never come here again.
