Dont buy any bridesmaid dresses from Melissa-e. I ordered three bridesmaid dresses around July 2021. Each of my bridesmaids were measured to ensure an accurate size would be ordered. During the appointment, I was told the dresses could be taken in or out by two sizes if any of the girls lost or gained weight. In early December the girls went to go and try the dresses on to get alterations. Two fit fine, but one of my bridesmaids the dress was obviously too tight. At the appointment, my bridesmaid asked if the dress could be taken out a little. Melissa said to her that we dont take out these dresses. A clear different message I was told when I ordered these $290 dresses. I spoke to Melissa and said we have a problem as the dress was clearly to tight (I cant understand why theyd take measurements and not order the correct size - they ordered her a 12 when she is a 14). Melissa said she could take it out a little, but it was up to my bridesmaid to lose weight. She said it was too late to order a new size. We picked up the dress in early January. Im disappointed in this whole experience because Melissa not only lied to me but made my bridesmaid feel like she was the problem when getting the dress. The dress also had a rip in the back before the wedding day because it was so tight when it was tried on during the alterations it ripped. The dresses were also not blush, they tried on a sample that was clearly blush pink, but when we picked up the dresses they are clearly peach pink In short, AVOID THIS PLACE!!!! Dont put yourself through this pain and unprofessionalism.

Absolutely appalling customer service. We as a group travelled 3 hours to find a bridesmaid dress and were treated like garbage. One shop assistant took a dress out of the change room as one of us were in there getting changed. Dresses were taken off is before we had a chance to try them on as other people needed to try them on even after we called ahead of time to let them know we were coming. Definitely wont be returning.

Horrible staff. Went in to look for a formal dress. Looked us up and down because we were plus size ladies and practically told us to leave. She said there is hardly any formal dresses when there were plenty. Hadnt even spent 5 minutes in there and before we went out the door the lady said good luck. Horrible, dont recommend
