Food was quite good with good portion of mussels . Seafood linguini also decent, but service was mediocre. Not very child friendly either.

Dear Jenna, Thank you for leaving a review. The waitress who took your order last night has not been working with us very long, she is still training. We will make sure that she will watch and properly read our customers. Although, your booking was cancelled and we were full, we found a table for your party and I went around a few times to check on the drinks, food and the service and we did not receive any complain from your table. But, I did notice that the melanzane was not fully eaten and I took it off your bill. I would also like to add that all the rest of the plates were empty and was told the food was delicious. Also, we got over 10% service from you so we are surprise to see this review. I would also like to reassure you that all sea food are delivered fresh each day and I do have the invoices for this. We were served by a lovely staff member initially, however the other waitress who served us was completely incompetent. They genuinely interrupted us to take our food order in the middle of us all saying cheers with our drinks, very bizarre and totally out of touch. Learn to read a table. I would go as far as saying the food was disgusting. Completely bland and overpriced. Pasta vastly overcooked and the melanzane parmegiana was soggy and gross. Not to mention that everyone who had fish in my group now has food poisoning. For a seafood restaurant, you would really expect the food hygiene standards to be well managed. This is by far the worst restaurant I've been to in Edinburgh.

Wow. That's the first word that comes to mind here. I'm a chef and the food was exceptional. The mussels were hot and I mean piping hot but not over cooked. I was so impressed. The service was fantastic and an open kitchen to watch. A perfect date night spot. Or if youre solo like myslef. Truly a wonderful time

Visited a number of times in the past, had a great time, but not this evening. The waitress made us feel very unwelcome. We were the only ones 'just', having s drink. All we wanted was a catch up and a blether. Of course we booked, but unless you are eating, expect to sit outside and don't ask questions!
