Nice little zoo unfortunately part of it is under construction. We were there in November so I guess most of the staff is gone. Some of the exhibits we're closed. Looks like a little cleaning and upkeep is needed for those areas still open to the public. For $5 it was a nice couple hours. I always wished the animals had more space. I would have liked to have read stories about each individual animal and maybe their names if they have them..... Side note the chimpanzee can be very inappropriate viewer discretion is advised, lol.

By far one of the biggest jokes I've experieneced was this zoo. I'm from Florida & I've seen hoarders with better backyard set ups for their animals. And this zoo doesn't really have any animals. The cheetah set up is tiny, but thank god they do NOT have a Cheetah so its all good, the small Australia walk is a joke, lol, there's no space, no habitats, nothing. No staff about, this is just some cheap backyard with a few animals in a cage. Absolutely classless and a waste of $6, with exotic pets being kept as pets and disposed of throughout the USA this zoo should just start taking in rescues and exhibit them. No zookeepers, no staff, no concessions stands, browse through instagram tagged pics of the zoo and people do not have pictures with or near animals aside from the small number of Primates. Close this zoo and stop being a true Kansan, which is a person ripping others off for money.

I have always loved this zoo. And even though I have not been back in years, I always have admired the hard work of the owners and staff to make it a wonderful experience for everyone. Some of my favorite memories of growing up come from going to this zoo with my parents, loved the peacocks but fell in love with all of the animals.

A great zoo for a smaller town. Beautifully landscaped with plenty of animals. Warning - it is on a steep hill so walking uphill is expected

Came back after 30 years, and this place is not the same. I gave 2 stars for the monkey exhibit. The other 3 are lacking in for too much construction at the same and barely any animals seen.
