To be able to address your experience at Green in BKLYN, please let me know in what way you were disappointed. As I don't remember waiting on you & have no record of your visit, I'm unable to improve upon or address what happened.
Thank you for taking the time to visit & share your opinion. I opened Green in BKLYN 10 years ago because I was interested in having a more eco-friendly home & lifestyle & because people in my community expressed the same interest. I've selected the products in the shop in part based on my customers' requests. To that end, there is a wide range of eco-friendly items - all of which are either natural, organic, made from recycled materials, locally made, fair trade, recyclable or help reduce waste. Additionally, Green in BKLYN's products & practices include a refill station for cleaning products, recycled paper cards, USDA certified skin care products, vintage items & much more. I don't carry plastic toys but there are vegan items (made from recycled inner tubes & other materials). And all of the products, in some way, meet the needs & requests of my customers to help make it easier for them to live more lightly on the earth. If you're in the neighborhood, I invite you back to Green in BKLYN to continue our conversation.

This store seems to be green washing. While they have some kind of eco friendly products, they also have leather bags and non vegan items. Also plastic magnets and toys. They had a magnet with Anne Frank with a quote saying something like After everything I believe people are good. No way. Thats so inappropriate currently and historically. Thats horrible. Also overpriced. Measuring cups for $30 and a mason jar for about $4. The stars given were for the fewwww sustainable products they have.
