Called multiple times and given different quotes on each call. I got charged $150 for something I don't even know what for. Never received call backs as promised. I will be filing a BBB complaint against the company and consumer fraud complaint with the attorney general's office. Avoid this place!!

excellent service i was so desoriented telling me is going to be so difficult no way i could do it , with time , money, dont know where to go to get the permit to build my storage shed , winter is coming where to put extra things i have home christmas items , machines and others extras at home and i read about chicago permit services i called maha and sofia did everything for me in less than a week i have my permit to build it . iam so happy and thankfull to them , more services like this make life less difficult and easier.thank you again.

We have been working with the City of Chicago for over 15 years, so we are aware of the violation ordinances. You are NOT allowed to have a random bedroom in a basement of a 2-story building. Either the basement must become legally habitable, OR it must be restored to ORIGINAL basement condition, regardless of if the room was there before your father purchased the home. Therefore, we cannot provide you with a price for plans for a new window to an illegal bedroom. We are sorry for not being able to provide you with the answer you wanted to hear. This is the violation descriptions from THE CITY OF CHICAGO : NC10012 Enclose heating plant room by partitions, floor, and ceiling with at least 1 hour fire resistance. (15-8-220) Heating plant in basement dwelling unit. NC10022 Separate furnace or heating plant from dwelling unit by partitions with at least 1 hour fire resistance. (13-196-740) Heating plant in basement dwelling unit. NC2011 Performed or allowed work to be performed without submitting plans prepared, signed and sealed by a licensed architect or registered structural engineer for approval and without obtaining a permit to perform the work. (13-32-010, 13-32-040, 13-40-020, 13-12-050) Submit plans and obtain permit for all related work to authorize alterations to the basement or restore the building to the original state. NC2071 Remove work performed without permit and restore building or site to original construction. (13-32-130, 13-32-290) Remove all partitions and fixtures [including electric and plumbing] installed in the basement without a permit.

Horrible service does not let the customer explain what the inspector told us as owners is needed for the building.. Claims she has been working for 15 years with city.. LEARN HIPPA you are exposing customer's address in your reviews which turns into law suites.
