At sharing connections its nothing free, they don't helped people. Lili lie to the people telling them that they will get a new furniture good items and she put the price of the merchandise.Lili ask me for $600 for items that for me are garbage and Iam in a need but I preferr to go to buy on yard sales. In there I find new items and in good condition and cheaper, And I got the option to choose them.
Sharing Connections is a great organization with small but a hard-working staff and many helpful volunteers. They will pick up certain furniture items within a limited geographical area (DuPage County), but the truck crew are all volunteers and their pickup schedule is often full up to 2 or 3 weeks out. Unfortunately there are people that try and take advantage of them don't bother calling them if you need a pickup by tomorrow, or if your stuff isn't in good or excellent condition (the families that the furniture goes to don't have the resources or ability to fix it).
My experience was not like I expected from reading the reviews. I was treated poorly and disrespected. I drove and hr and a half just to give them $330 for what was the total opposite what I was told. Lily told me I will be giving all brand new furniture for me and my five children but I was giving damaging, unmatched, used and broken items. Not that Im not grateful for being referred I just fell robbed. I was treated so bad by one of the working as well. I wish I could upload pictures.
