Extremely disappointed with Myer. I have purchased a long cardigan one week ago; received one email today saying that my order was canceled as product is no longer in stock. I checked the website and the product is still available one size bigger. Good customer service wouldve been to be contacted to see if Id like to get it on a different size (its a long cardigan after all). Called customer service and asked to purchase it for the same price I have paid on sale. I was not only told that it was not possible but have been hung up on when showing my dissatisfaction.
The loss of the 2nd floor has really hurt the store. The range is a lot smaller than Townsville. Staff very rude assuming we can't afford things because we don't wear fancy brands. Not in a hurry to return.
It is a very nice clean and well presented store, however it appears to me that this particular store is permanently understaffed. My wife enjoys shopping in this store as there is a very diverse range of goods such as Lancome, and many other goods and products that are simply unavailable elsewhere. In fact there are some very reputable high end women's products available at this store however finding a representative for your desired product can often times present as a challenge. On each occasion my wife and i were required to hunt down and locate staff members to assist us in our purchases. There just is not enough representation for the diverse range of high end feminine products at this store to assist you on most occasions when you visit this store. I feel that customers like my wife would feel more appreciated if there was adequate staffing at each stall.
