I have no idea who you are because of your fake profile name and picture, but I can assure you we don't "charge $60 to not even check it or nothing". We charge a $60 diagnostic fee that covers our time spent getting to the bottom of whatever problems the customer is having with their device. This fee is applied towards the final labor cost of the repair. We charge the same for 1 problem as we do for 50 problems. Computers are complex, and computer problems even more so. This diagnostic process can take days, and we think $60 is a fair price to cover this process. In comparison, Geek Squad charges $149.99. Also, your story doesn't add up, how did you get the device back from us but we never explained what was going on? When the customer picks up their device, we give it back with a detailed invoice of the diagnostic results, and a verbal explanation of the situation. We would never just say "we couldn't fix it". If your "totally-not-imaginary" friend "just install a new software", maybe they should open up their own shop and put me out of business, because clearly "install a new software" is extremely advanced stuff that we are not capable of doing here at one of the highest rated repair shops in the entire state.

Worst costumer service I brought my laptop because it stop working they charge $60 to not even check it or nothing never call to explain whats going on, my friend just install a new software and is working and they just said they couldnt fix it

I built my first PC and brought it in to have the quality/accuracy of my build assessed. They corrected the installation of my fans, as I had some facing the wrong direction. They also cleaned up my interior cable management and made sure everything else was in order. It's worth it for the peace of mind. Recommended.
