I dont leave reviews usually but this experience was so bad I feel the need to warn other people. I recently moved to Plainview. I went to Optical Image and I have to say it was probably the worst retail experience I have ever had. They were using very high pressure sales tactics to try and get me to purchase more expensive frames. The manager Heather was extremely nasty. It was so bad I just walked out. I live less than 5 minutes from there and will never go back and wouldnt recommend anyone else go there either unless you want to be pressured and belittled. Awful experience.

Worst service ever. Could not get things right after many tries and chances. Even went as low as saying the prescription not being right was my fault. Finally returned glasses and got refund but had to wait another 4 weeks and remind them about sending that too. I was told when i reminded them that the check was mailed out the prior week. Magically 2 days later it showed up dated the day i called to remind them. Seems they like to lie too. Would not recommend giving money to liars who can not do job right. Response from comment: Just to clear this up, it was the plainview office, I definitely wrote review for correct address and no I wont call you.(thats them blaming the customer again) I refuse to do business with you ever again.

Great service, and very friendly! I have been coming here for 6 years now, havent found an eye doctor that works for me!! Always helped find the perfect glasses for me! The girls are awesome and understand me and my kids very well

Best experience I have ever had in eye care. My appointment was on time, they knew how to handle insurance, great service, all costs were fully explained prior to the service, had everything I need. I will never go anywhere else.

HI Balakrishna, unfortunately insurance does not always cover all portions of the exam. Our doctors always strive to provide the best care possible to all of their patients, which is why a dilated eye exam was recommended for your father. We are aware that there was some confusion with your father's insurance because you did not fully comprehend that his plan did not cover the dilation. Our staff tried to assist you and explain the situation, but you made them feel very uncomfortable by loudly refusing to pay the $45 copay after services had been rendered. We still wanted to make you happy though! We waived all additional exam fees, and you did not pay the $45 (it was never $50!).

Horrible experiance. Tried to charge me extra ($50) for a test that I did not ask for and claimed I should pay since my insurance doesnt cover it. The staff was unprofessional and made me very uncomfortable!
