They are unable to provide a written estimate on anything. They have no customer service. They are unable to track customers or inventory. After calling ahead and confirming that what I needed was in stock, they were unable to give me a price for it at any time, when I arrived to purchase it, it was broken, and they had put it together to conceal it. Completely incompetent.
My husband and I visited Hearth and Patio on Kingston Pike, Knoxville recently. We were immediately met by Brian Wright, who did a tremendous job helping us, Brian was very patient with us; answered all our questions; helped us pick out the fireplace that we wanted (including the facade, liner, chimney sections, elbows, and termination kits needed). Brian is very knowledgeable of the fireplaces at Hearth and Patio and how they work. As he printed us a quote, the warranty, and building specs, Brian also discussed the installation process with us and gave us the name and phone number of the installer when we are ready for the fireplace to be delivered/installed. Thanks Hearth and Patio for hiring such awesome, kind, and professional store associates such as Brian. He made our visit very enjoyable and did a very wonderful job.
I have been shopping at Hearth & Patio for over 20 years. They have a knowledgeable team and offer a good selection of Fireplace inserts and heating stoves. Installation was professional and prompt. Knoxville has few retail alternatives and I highly recommend Hearth & Patio.
Needed a 13.5" replacement grate for my smoker's charcoal pan. Nothing fancy. Tried to sell me one for the absurd price of $50. That makes no sense whatsoever. Found it elsewhere for around $8. I guess they're catering to people who can afford to throw their money away.
