I am a relatively new business looking for accounting and bookkeeping help. I found Jon Bell online and was pleased to see all the 5 Star recommendations. I looked at their website and saw that they provide a FREE Initial Consultation, another great perk. I called and spoke to a very polite young lady and ended up highly disappointed to find out that this firm doesn't actually give free initial consultations and the excuse was they were supposed to pull it down but they didn't know why it hadn't been done yet. I asked if they would honor it since its still on their website and was answered with a disappointing NO. Needless to say as a small business who needs help and also needs to save money, the extreme cost of a initial consultation was way to much and I now have to continue the search. I don't know how the rest of their business practices are but wanted to let everyone know that FREE on a website doesn't mean FREE at all.
