Personally I think rude service,it's like they're offended that you walk in and place an order , it's unfortunate we live in a society where you have to tolerate rudeness, or behaviour of that kind ,I been in this place twice and the service was exactly the same , as for food it's basic Chinese food nothing special nothing to bad ,

We usually highly rate the food, service, everything! They must be having a really bad day today. Having received a delivery with an item missing we called to let them know, not expecting them to resend, although we had paid for it. We said to knock it off the next order. My husband was accused of trying to "rock them" for 2.10! We're honestly not that hard up! Needless to say we'll be going elsewhere from now on. Shame.

I've been coming here for a few years now and really enjoy the food. Chips well cooked, curry and gravy are very good, and the chicken fried rice is exactly how i like it. Prices are very reasonable and portion sizes are on the larger side (adding to the value for money.) They do not offer delivery service so if you want it delivered you will be paying a taxi fare ontop of your order price. That doesnt bother me personally as i always ring, place my order and drive to collect. Overall i would highly recommend Hamer Chop Suey Bar as a cracking little chinese takeaway.

Really disappointed with the chicken curry portion size. Just bought one and it's too small for the price.
