Can't say enough great things about Troy! One of the best teachers I've ever learned from, regardless of sport/discipline. As background - I'm a beginner/intermediate kiter (been kiting 2 years ~every other weekend). I wanted to work on riding toe side, popping, and jumping. In a 3 hour individual lesson we were able to cover all three of these topics and more. At the end I was able to do all three confidently and have the skill set and technical understanding to keep improving on them going forward. This was my first lesson aside from my introductory lesson and I'm so impressed at how much I was able to improve in such a short amount of time. I highly recommend lessons with Troy if you're visiting Maui!

Troy is fun and safety conscious! He starts with some practice on the beach which pays off when you get in the water. He sends you in the water to try something new, at the right time, with resources to self correct. He takes the time to teach in a caring way- he wants you to succeed!

My wife and I had lessons with Troy 2 years ago already, and loved it. Back on Maui again, we had more lessons with him--this time being a good notch better and so he taught us some neat turns, starting jumps, etc. Safe and fun and great progress! Loved it again!

I had a great experience with Complete Kite Boarding. Both Troy and Paul are excellent instructors. I was a complete beginner and the beach they use is perfect because its away from all the crowds and theres lots of room to learn without worrying about running into other kites. Thanks guys, Ill be back for more next time Im on Maui!
