She's nice but her assistant is a nightmare. Very rude and controlling with the patients particularly the lense wearers. This is what happens when you get a very immature staff in and give way too much power to them.. This assistant is not a particularly educated person and thinks because she's working for an OD, "by osmosis" she is the "DOCTOR". LOL!!! Someone like this can really bring a business down, which is why the doctor next door is becoming more popular.
First general appointment - really great. Brisco was articulate, obviously knew what she was doing and into alternative healing. The people in the glasses department were a little pushy but no big deal. Had trouble getting the second appointment because no one answered the phone. Tried emailing still nothing. After about three weeks got through and told they were changing office systems. Second appointment I was told would be 1 1/2 hours max, but took 2 1/2. I spent about an hour with the doctor and various techs, spent the rest waiting. These things happen, but the worst part was no one seemed to listen to or acknowledge me. Almost every time I tried to speak I was interrupted and left to wait for another 20 minutes. I had the feeling that no one cared about me In that office, and even began to wonder if they would all leave and forget I was there. They were so backed up, they tried to get me to come back to finish the appointment another day. When I expressed displeasure they relented and finished it up. I will go back because I think there brains and pockets of compassion there. I hope the administrative problems can be solved.
I have been a patient of Dr. Brisco for 30+ years. Her guidance has halted my macular degeneration and she has helped me keep my eyes healthy all of these years. The best!!!!!!!
Terrible experience, pushy sellers, they don't have their optics lab here and glasses take weeks to arrive, only to arrive incorrectly made. send then back and that will take over a month to get them again, and you will have to be calling them to remind them about your glasses, the will forget and won't call you back. People who answer the phone are unprofessional, you have to repeat your information over and over. They give away free stuff in exchange for reviews so I am afraid most of the reviews here are fake. I have had the worst experience getting glasses here of all my life, and I come from a developing country. I expected a better experience but so far it has been nothing but disappointment and time wasting, avoid if you value your time. By the way, they are closed randomly for the day, and they won't tell you even if you call a day in advance like today (Jan 24th, I called yesterday) so don't expect them to tell you when they're open in advance. Update: I stopped by again and they were wrong again. I asked for a refund, but that doesn't cover the time I lost here. Like I said, if you value your time, avoid.
