Thank you for your review. Yes I apologised for you being given incorrect information at the time you booked the machine into the store. Upon invesigation we noted the overlooper had contacted fabric during machine operation causing the looper to break. We ordered an original manufacturer part from the Juki distributor and we had to wait some time for this to arrive. As a matter of courtesy we only charged you or basic service charge of $75.00 plus the looper charge. At no time were we rude and went out of our way to explain the costs involved and that the machines was damaged by accidental operation. Again apologies for any missunderstanding.

Purchased a Juki overlocker from sew simple, which broke after 8 months while sewing a fabric that should not of broken the part. When i brought it in for repair the technician assured me it was covered under warranty. However 3 weeks after dropping it off I was told that is would cost $195 to repair and that they would ring me when it was ready to collect. When I went to collect it and questioned the cost of the repair the owner was rude, condescending, racist towards about his technician and belittling towards us. It was so embarrassing that his kind female employee has to apologise for his poor behaviour and communication. When i looked online at the cost of an authentic replacement part, they had charged me 3 times the price I could purchase it for online. I will never go back there again, to be abused instead of receiving any customer!
Greg thank for your feedback, however, it was a very different story when we offered to help you with your issue. You have been using your Juki domestic machine in a 'commercial application' using a much heavier thread than it was designed to use. You had adjusted the machine incorrectly and once I reset the machine it operated correctly as you agreed in the store. At no time was I rude despite your threats to throw the machine through our front window. I have been in this business now for nearly 42 years, and understand the capabilities of your Juki machine. I advised you correctly that for the heavy upholstery fabric application you are stitching and the thread gauge you want to use, that the correct machine selection would have been a compound feed industrial machine. I am always happy to help you but do not appreciate misleading reviews of our store or its products.

Very very disappointed with our $2000 Juki machine that we bought 12 months ago. It has been returned and checked several times but still having problems. Not nice when you feel like you are treated like an idiot. We would not buy another machine from Sew Simple and would not recommend them.
I've had 2 bernina machines serviced here, and the staff really went above and beyond! They were super helpful, and the service time was so quick :) Would 100% recommend
Thank you for your visit today, I am surprised at your comment as we offered to fix your machines but as mentioned to you we are are not an agent for your Brother machine we are unable to access parts to repair it. We also do not cover the warranty for manufacturers we don't stock and are not contractually obligated to do so regardless of any recommendations made by a 3rd party to bring a machine to us for repair, the fact that you expected us to repair this machine free of charge and were probably explained why we were not prepared to do so. We suggested you speak to to Spotlight where you purchased the machine to either have it repaired or replaced as per your manufacturer's warranty and the contractual obligations made by and between spotlight and yourself by purchasing from that Spotlight have with Brother for selling you your machine.
