We are sorry that you feel your daughter was taken advantage of at our office. We can assure you that every aspect of her visit was carried out in a professional and appropriate manner, including billing. Visits to doctors are billed according to the patient's chief complaint. When a patient lists a medical complaint on their intake form, their visit is treated as such and explained to the patient. Insurance can be extremely confusing, especially the differences between vision plans and medical insurance. Vision plans are filed for "wellness" vision check ups and glasses / contact lenses, and medical insurance is filed when there is a medical complaint. The patient's medical insurance then dictates the benefits and copays that are applied. Again, we are sorry for the misunderstanding and wish your daughter the best.

Took advantage of our college students Medical insurance so that they could get paid more, instead of using our vision insurance, costing us more money out of pocket. Don't send unexperienced student for exam or they will take advantage of the situation.

My son was there for his yearly exam. The front desk ladies were a delight to walk into. Very helpful and informative. Our appointment was at 9am we showed up 20 min. Before to fill out paperwork. We were back in a roo very promptly. We waited an hour to see the doctor. My son needed glasses first time 16 years old. When we went to pick glasses the woman was very rude. Didn't want to really help us. I was very disappointed. I wish the blonde was there to help. She did great with my two younger boys a few months back.
