Please do not bring your loved one here!!! Scabies, lice, COVID + and a 5"x5" severe yeast rash, and then they lost all my Mom's clothing, all in a 2 month period!!! This is what happened to my Mom from 2/22-5/22 and then we were finally able to take her out of there! Now, we are in the legal stages of ensuring this neglect and abuse does not happen to any other resident at Bella Vista EVER and to hold accountable all involved parties.

I was s resident here a couple years ago, for about 6 weeks, and feel so fortunate that my hospital's case worker was able to place me there for the 6 well therapy my physician had ordered. Since that time i have shared my experience with many, & realize that at least here in SD county we do not have many facilities available that meet the high standards Bells Vista had to offer, well, that all facilities should offer, period. Like many, I was ignorant regarding the expectations one should expect from them, and it took a car accident followed with several surgeries and subsequent stays at such facilities offering physical therapy in order for me to be made aware of just how important it is for those of us in need to find the care we deserve. I was a resident at a total of 4 different ones, the last of which was Bella Vista, and it was that wonderful place that made me realize how lacking most are. What can i day, but that the staff there made me feel like a queen every single day, and that i literally cried the day i was discharged and had to say farewell? It didn't take long to realize just how lucky i was to have been placed there, with the bad memories of the previous 3 nursing facilities, one of which was so horrible that with only 4 Idays remaining left in my treatment I found myself walking out AMA! So I it's you to take care in choosing a facility, for yourself or a loved one, please get involved, don't assume all is well just bc it's accredited, for in order for them to earn that meaningless seal of approval, very little I'd expected, and the standards they meet are minimum at best. I can't speak for all of them, but Bella Vista is a 5 start facility that exceeds all standards, and i feel privileged to have been a resident there! Thx for your attention.

Taking care of us!! One of the best nursing homes in California, I've been in like 4 nursing homes and this is the best it's so hard to pin one staff when everyone is so awesome, I don't feel like a patient here, I feel needed, If I've a problem, some of the nurses step up and make me us feel better,

sent i be here i had noting but experience the woman here after 12:00 am they sit around and do nothing one of the nurses come in a started to open my water cup and as a result i want to take a drink and it spilled my life to content all over my bed and on me. way she open.she did not close it back. And if that was not enough some stole my phone that was in my drawer. then they did not wake me up and give me my med so needy to that has been the worse experience life right my back is hurting i have my gabapenttin i am tired of asking for my med.
