I didnt appreciate being charged 70$ for a contact fitting ( as part of my annual covered by insurance) when my contacts havent changed in 10 years. Complete waste of money and Ill be making sure to make my prescription last for 2 years. Also could not believe the exorbitant price for computer glasses offered.

Dr. Friedman has a great bedside manner. Dr Rosenblatt (talked to him through the on call service) not so much. But the real review is that upon requesting my records to go see a specialist for an eye concern, they charge $10 for it. Ive never once in my life had to pay someone to fax my records. A copy fee to fax records. Thats insane and just like how some people say this place is a ripoff, this makes me feel the same. $10 to fax records. Im literally baffled. I had like 2 visits, so I have a skinny file. $10. On principle, this really makes me mad. AND THEN, when I call to clarify that the charge is for faxes too, the receptionist explains, yeah I get charged for my medical records when I request them. Well go to doctors that arent trying to shake you down. I checked with the doctor Im going toguess what, they dont charge to get your records. Surprise surprise. The doctor that I was previously at in my home town who faxed records to W.E.D? Didnt charge me for those records. Through moving to college, law school, summer internship locations, etc. Ive had very many records requested in lifeever get charged? Nope. I mean maybe they figure at this point youre on your way out anyway so might as well stick it to you, but I actually wasnt really on my way out for routine eye visits. I was only going to this other doctor for a specialist visit because he has a speciality with a specific rare eye condition. And I wondered why they wouldnt have their records request form on their sitewell now I know. Thats where they reveal the charge ($10 for first 10 pages then $.50 per page). They dont tell you about the charge when you call to ask them to send you a records request form. They let you find out when you get the form. I understand having to find and pull records isnt a fun task, but I think its fair to say thats kind of in the office staffs job description.

They did the regular eye examination for me and said it would cost 68$, but when I received my insurance receipt, it costs 235$. Obviously they did extra examination that I didn't ask. And they even want me to pay it by cash at the moment I left the clinic. It's not honest and I hope people to know it. I went due to it's high rate on Google and went home felt cheated.
