Billing and payment systems are horrible!! Just like previous customer stated, bill was paid IN FULL five days ago, now they show up and disconnect the water?? The excuse was their system didnt trigger properly to cancel the disconnect work order after payment was made..so now, because YOUR system messed up, I have to get put on the regular work order schedule for the day? So I could wait an hour, it could be 8 hours, or it could be next business day..because YOUR system messed up???? So a customer who did what they were supposed to, paid everything that needed to be paid prior to any deadlines, thinks that they are free and clear of any water issues..now has to get shuffled in randomly to a list of work orders for the day??? Make it make sense!! I did my part, on-time..YOUR system messed up..now I have to wait and be inconvenienced???? Spoke to a supervisor..no sense of urgency what so ever!!
I dont normally leave give bad reviews BUT my experience with Raleigh Water has been a nightmare. Customer service is always right and the consumer wrong. I wont expound on the incompetence I experienced, however I am glad to be free of Raleigh Water.
Mr. Weckesser and Mr. Ferrusi were the inspectors for a job we completed in Raleigh. They were both exceptional at their jobs, friendly, professional and very helpful in explaining the inspection process and codes. We were very impressed and enjoyed working with them both.
I called Raleigh water early this afternoon. It appeared that my water meter was leaking. Water was continuously coming out of the meter box & running over the curb. Shawna was very professional and gave me a service number (1412545) for the call. However, what really impressed me was that Marcellus showed up within an hour or two and immediately began digging up my meter box. He dug it all the way up & said he thought it was just ground water. He then reinstalled the meter box & cleaned up the mess. His attitude was courteous and professional throughout the time he was here. He worked hard and diligently all the time he was here. I feel fortunate that our City has quality people like Marcellus working for us. Please express my thanks and appreciation for his service today. I had a past due balance of $101. They sent someone out to shut off my water over that puny bill. The tech came out and shut it off without a word. He didn't even bother to knock on the door. My wife needed to get ready for work and now she will be delayed. I have an infant here on powdered formula which requires water to make the formula and to wash out the bottles after. It is also needed to wash hands after changing diapers. A simple knock on the door would have been nice. I would have paid it and the guy could have left without having to turn the water off and then making another trip to turn it back on. I had to call in to pay my bill ( I paid the entire amount, not just the past due, I'm busy not broke) and now I get to wait for the sneaky ninja technician to come back out to turn it on at his convenience. What was really irritating was that when I asked for a number to the technician's supervisor, I was told that "there isn't a number for that sir" No problem. Google review it is. You are welcome. I will be moving out of your service area so I will no longer be forced to do business with you. I would advise anyone that is considering moving into Raleigh to reconsider, or put your bills on auto-pay because they will sneak up and shut you off for less than it costs for a couple to go out to dinner.
