Our sincere apologies for the inconvenience of int'l shipping. Unfortunately we were forced to have a min of $1000 and do a wire transfer due to massive fraud that has occurred with int'l orders of people reversing charges after they rec'v product and us having no recourse. This forced us to have a min order to cover the cumbersome process of requiring wire transfers for int'l orders. It is a shame that scammers and fraudsters have hurt both you and us and are dissappointeds that we have had to put those measures in to protect our company after numerous instances of being taken advantage of. We apologize that this ended up affecting you. It also affects us. We hope to be able to mitigate the risks of int'l orders better in the future. UPDATE: WE HAVE INSTALLED NEW SOFTWARE PLUG-IN THAT WILL ENABLE US TO PROCESS INT'L ORDERS WITHOUT THE $1000 MINIMUM . Poor customer service via website. I tried to place an order for international delivery and they insisted on large minimum even though I have done $1,000s of business in past. They were totally indifferent to my raising this. I have transferred my business to a supplier who appreciates it.

Raw copper can patina just from finger prints where you touch it when installing. The only way to prevent this is from coating the copper. We used to offer copper in 2 versions (raw and clear coated), the overwhelming majority selected raw so we discontinued the clear coating option 10 years ago. Don't fret, the rain spots will soon disappear as the whole fixture will be patina as a natural copper does. If you want it to be shiny copper the only way to do that is to clean the fixture with copper cleaner then clearcoat it immediately afterwards. However do note, as the clearcoat ages you will get uneven patina stains where the clear coat bubbles/peels/cracks-- so it will look good for about a year then worse than no clearcoat thereafter. That is the reason you don't see shiny copper outside-- the outdoor elements cause this natural phenomenon and it is part of copper's beauty. In salty areas it will turn green, in non-salt areas an aged dark brown, with add'l impurities/chemicals/fertilizer/acid rain/reclaimed water you can get a mixture of beautiful natural patina looks with copper. We are sorry that was not your expectation but the spots you are seeing are normal and we note on our copper fixtures that they will patina.

Order a Copper set of walk way lignting and installed a few days after receiving. Next day it rained and every light was stained. Even the lamp posts showed signs of staining. Called Volt customer service and was informed this is a natural patina. Nothing stains after one rain. So Disappointed.

We had a landscape lighting person come out to give us an estimate. For $2,400 we would get 7 spotlights and installation. We purchased a Volt light kit through Costco. The kit included 6 spotlights wire and transformer. We added an additional spotlight and the total came to $350.00 I am 76 so was concerned about doing it ourselves. After receiving we decided to give it a shot. The only difficulty was digging the shallow ditch for the wire. The builder left a large amount of small rocks where we had to dig. Total installation time amounted to 5 hours. The quality of the lights and seem well made and feel they were made with quality materials.

Hardware and accessories are excellent - quality of customer support varies depending on who you contact. The returns process is very customer friendly and reasonable - We enjoy our lights in the TX evenings.
