3 stars is for Dr. Mendelsohn only who I think is knowledgeable with a great personality. 1 star is for the dishonesty, the office receptionist, I think her name is Carole for her rude unconcerned manner and the office manager who never called me back. I specifically said before I went in to the doctor that I did not want the $50 refraction and if this was an absolute must then I would cancel. The reception then checked with the office manager who said it was ok I didnt have to do it and there was no charge as my insurance covered me on all other tests. I went in to see the doc who usually does a bunch of tests as I normally do then left. 3 months later I get a bill for $50 I called billing they said ok they will reverse then I get a bill for $25 two months later. They then told me to call the office. I called the office said the doctor did the the test even though I requested specifically for it not to be done therefore they had to charge me. I left a voice msg for the office manager whos yet to call me back.

The one star has nothing to do with Dr. Mendelson at all, he was great. But unfortunately you have to deal with the office staff who are some of the rudest people I have ever encountered at a Dr's office. Their attitudes are incredibly nasty and they WILL overbill you for nonsense or services they never rendered, so be sure to check your bill before paying. It's a shame they put such a bad public face on what would otherwise be a great practice.

I had to wait a very long while to be seen by the doctor, my appointment was a 10am and I left the doctor office until almost 1pm, having to cut my appointment short.
