I loved my surgeon from this practice, Dr. Hanks. He was amazing. I was significantly less impressed with whomever handled the FMLA paperwork at the time, as she flat out told me she thought I was making up my symptoms simply to avoid going back to work. As it turns out, I had a hiatal hernia (a 2cm hole in my diaphragm that was sucking up my stomach) that went undiagnosed for 11 months since almost no one listened to my "made up" symptoms.
